The good news is that confidence is a skill that can be learned and developed.
Today we'll be discussing some techniques for building self-confidence, based on the book "The Confidence Code".
1. First and foremost, practice. Whether it's giving a speech, taking a test, or having a difficult conversation, practicing beforehand can help build your confidence.
2. Another technique is to use power poses. Research shows that standing in a confident pose can actually increase feelings of confidence.
3. Taking deep breaths can also help calm nerves and increase confidence.
4. Talking to a friend or mentor can help provide reassurance and perspective, and can help you feel more confident in yourself and your abilities.
5. And lastly, this is one of my favourite methods, and also has many other benefits. Start journaling. This can be another useful tool for building confidence. Writing down your accomplishments and successes can help you recognize your strengths and build a more positive self-image.
So, there you have it!
