True Prosperity – All of God’s Prosperity Is Received By Faith
1. God’s Will Is Prosperity - Adam Lacked No Good Thing In Life
Prov 10:22 The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it
Rom 5:17 (AMP) By the sin Adam, death reigned through (Adam), so how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness rule in life through the One, Jesus Christ
Adam was born again from life into death, every phase of Adam’s life came under the curse even his wife
Satan is the author of poverty, and God is the author of abundance
Js 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows
2. True Prosperity Affects Every Area Of Our Lives
True prosperity affects our personal relationship with God
Matt 6:33 Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you
True prosperity includes a blessed family- spouse and children
Gen 12:3 In you all the families of the earth will be blessed
True prosperity includes discovering your purpose in life
Phil 3:12 I have not already obtained all this, or have already arrived but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me
True prosperity includes health and finances
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers
3. All of God’s Prosperity Is Received the Same Way - By Faith
Gen 12:2 I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing
Gal 3:14 Those who have faith are blessed with Abraham (man of faith)
Abraham had to be willing to let go of a cursed small thinking
Gen 12:1 The LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you
Abraham was willing to receive a new and better dream for his life
Rom 4:18-19 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” 9 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.
Abraham was willing to call his prosperity into being
Rom 4:17 “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not
Abraham was willing to wait on God’s timing
Rom 4:20-21 He did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave praise to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised
