The Beautiful Feast of the Desert Valley, or Hab Nefer en Pa'Inet, is the third feast of the dead in the Kemetic/Egyptian Pagan calendar. Its origins are in the Theban festival where Amun of Luxor travelled to the western cliffs, where Hatshepsut's temple is now located. Celebrated at the end of April or beginning of May, depending on the calendar, it honors Amun-Ra and Hathor, Mistress of the West.
This was a service we conducted with participants on Skype and in person, much like our Feast of Min, and posted on YouTube by request. We kept the camera focused mainly on the altar, so viewers can follow along without someone blocking the view. :) Enjoy!
