Palpayasam'(Pal-milk Payasam-Kheer) is a rice pudding made of rice, milk and sugar and is one of the desserts in a traditional Kerala sadya(feast). This payasam has no additional ingredients for flavour like cardamom or roasted nuts unlike other payasams....

Ingredients:
Milk. 1 Ltr
Sugar. 3/4 Cup
Water. 1 Cup
Basmati Rice - 1/2 Cup
( White Rice )

For Caramelize:
Sugar. 1/4 Cup
Butter. 1 Tbsp
