The cam follower for the high pressure fuel pump wears into the intake camshaft. Replacement of the camshaft, follower, and high pressure fuel pump is recommended, along with the associated gaskets. It is also a good to replace your timing belt and water pump if you haven't already done so, and perform an oil service to flush any metal that may be in the system.
