Here is a band scan (a survey) of the 20 Meter amateur radio band, sampling various modes (FT8, USB, CW). Even a, "hello, radio," transmission is caught during this band scan. I often scan the 20-meter amateur radio band, to check on activity and propagation into southwest Ohio. This session was recorded starting at 10:16 Eastern Time, or, 14:16 UTC, on at Tuesday morning, 23 July 2024 (UTC date). The receiver is an SDRPlay RSPdx radio, hooked up to my 160-meter doublet that is up at about 80 feet. This radio is controled by the software-defined radio software, SDR Console. The radio is hooked up to my 160-meter doublet that is up at about 80 feet above local ground.
