During the colonial era, racial theories were meticulously crafted to justify colonial domination, resulting in the entrenchment of caste-based discrimination. We can trace back to the origin of the caste hierarchy system to the Islamic invaders, which is still prevalent in countries like Pakistan. However, Western colonialists played a significant role in constructing and perpetuating the caste system. The true nature of caste is rooted in ideas of blood purity and hierarchy, which are intricately linked to colonial ideologies rather than intrinsic cultural beliefs. Colourism, hierarchy, and endogamy were the core of the caste system in the Americas, categorizing individuals legally based on distorted Western perceptions of colour and lineage. So, it's important to learn the truth in order to dispel any misconceptions.
