Paint markers are a great tool for highly opaque and permanent labelling even on dark and transparent materials, e.g. metal, glass and plastic. To activate them before the first use shake the marker with the cap on and remove the cap. Pump the marker with the nib downwards on e.g. a piece of scrap paper.
