When should my baby start babbling?

This is a question families frequently ask!

So here’s the very short with out getting into the nitty gritty answer- Babbling is a complex skill that develops within quite a range of time- between 4-9 months! (You see that range here with all different types of babbling at different ages)

How can I help my baby babble more?
1️⃣ Imitate the sounds your baby is making! A coo, a gurgle, a little squeak- you make the same sound back!
2️⃣Use a sing song voice when talking! You have to get noisy and talk to get your baby noisy!
3️⃣Put your babies hand on your lips as you make silly sounds! This creates face to face time, brings attention your mouth, and adds another level of support!
