As part of efforts to Carter for the Welfare of Nigerian Army Guards Brigade Personnel, the Chief of Army Staff, Major General, Taoreed Lagbaja has inaugurated Modern Medical Centre, Officers Quarters and Others projects for its officers.
Commissioning the projects which was his first since assumption of office, Gen. Lagbaja noted that the move was in line with his command philosophy which is hinged on leadership, operational effectiveness and sound administration.
The COAS stressed that the Nigerian Army under his leadership will witness more infrastructural development across the nation.
The commissioned projects include the newly constructed 20 blocks of flats officers quarters located in Wu Bassey Barrack as well as the Guards Brigade remodelled and ultra modern state of the arts hospital and Garrison duty room.
Also commissioned are the residential accommodation for the Brigade's Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM), initiated and sponsored by the immediate past Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya.
