I come up against a lot of negativity regarding these bikes and I'm here to stick up for them. They are really comfortable, very versatile, I've taken mine bike packing and love that it can sit out of sight in the tent vestibule. I done reasonably long distance rides (70 miles is the furthest I've been so far) and you can do the return leg on the train or bus.
It goes everywhere you go, so take it into cafe's and it sits under the table. By the time your friend has found somewhere they trust to secure their bike you've enjoyed your first coffee!
Oh and by the way. If you were wondering, why the name. B=Brompton, 75 was the year they first began production. Simples!
