Aval laddu, just 3 main ingredients for this quick and easy recipe ready and can be prepared in 10 mins.
Here is an easy recipe that has lord Krishna’s favorite – Aval / Poha and ghee
Let's look at how to make poha/aval laddu
Ingredients
• Aval/ Poha/ flattened rice – 1 cup
• Almond flour – 1 cup
• Fried gram – 3 tbsp
• Fresh grated coconut – 3 tbsp
• Poppy seeds – 2 tbsp
• Milk powder – 2 tbsp
• Jaggery – 1 cup ( as per your sweet)
• Ghee – 5 tbsp
• Cashew nuts – 5
• Dried raisins – 10
• Pistachios -1 tbsp
• Dates – 3 tbsp
Recipe Instructions
1. Take pan add ghee then roast poha.
2. Until golden in color. Cool down.
3. Same pan add Ghee and roast coconut ,then dry roast poppy seeds
4. Heat ghee and break the cashews to very tiny pieces and fry until golden. Add raisin and fry till fluffy.
5. Take out and keep them aside
6. Grind to make a flour/ fine powder of Poha, Almond flour and Fried gram.
7. Add Jaggery and grind mixture to fine powder.
8. Take the powdered ingredients in a mixing bowl to it add rest of ingredients (Coconut, Poppy seeds, Milk powder, Cashews, Raisins, Dates) and add the heated ghee to it.
9. Mix well and take a hand full of mixture and press inside your palm to make laddoos out of it.
10. Yummy Aval laddoos are ready.
11. Store in air tight container and best for more than a week.
