This talk introduces the current degree of development of augmented reality technology along with the difficulties we are facing that are yet to be resolved. It is the story of what the future will look like through the understanding of the maturity of augmented reality research. Jun Park completed Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in 2000, writing a thesis on extending tracking ranges for vision-based Augmented Reality. He had participated in the AR and HCI research at the Rockwell Science Center, for US government projects. Since 2002, he is working for Hongik University, Seoul, Korea, teaching Computer Graphics, Artificial Intelligence, and researching AR, HCI, and AI.
