Hi, and welcome to The Immigrant Lawyer. My name is Lia, and I'm an immigrant turned immigrants' rights advocate with a passion for mindful movement.

Mindful movement, in my life, means migration + mobility.

Migration is the movement of people from one place to another, with the intention of settling at a new location. As an immigration attorney licensed and practicing in California, I've worked with families, asylum seekers, survivors of crime and violence from all over the world and currently advise a Fortune 100 tech company on strategies for U.S. immigration & global mobility.

Mobility is the ability to move freely, which I like to do by teaching and practicing yoga-Pilates-HIIT.
