Rich and creamy lassi topped with fresh cream and dry fruits.
PUNJABI LASSI
Ingredients
¾ cup hung yogurt
¾ cup thick yogurt
½ cup milk + as required
½ cup powdered sugar
Ice cubes as required
A pinch green cardamom powder
Crushed peda for topping
Almond slivers for garnishing
Pistachio slivers for garnishing
Saffron strands for garnishing
Method
1. Boil sufficient milk in a non-stick pan. Scrape off the cream and reserve.
2. Blend together hung yogurt, thick yogurt, powdered sugar, some ice cubes, milk and cardamom powder to a smooth mixture.
3. Pour into individual serving glasses. Top with some crushed peda, garnish with almond slivers, pistachio slivers and saffron strands and serve chilled.
