Park Junmo loves his wife very much. He accepted the mission for him to be good enough for her and to her family as well. All the while, Junmo didn't want her to be involved in the investigation so she won't get hurt till she becomes a barrier in the long run. Junmo almost failed on his mission because Euijeong made Gicheul decide to live an ordinary life.
Did Junmo really have a changed of heart because of Haeryun? Why did Junmo gave up his wife whom he cares a lot and loves so much? Seeing Euijeong cares and worried that much when Gicheul was shot by Junmo would have been too much to see.
The jealousy he felt and can't do anything but to observe because of his mission gave Junmo the heavy load. Having seen Euijeong many times with Jung Gicheul made him turn his back and for the fact that Haeryun has shown care and support to Junmo becomes a factor that he felt loved, safe and sound.
What do you think would be the best closure? Park Junmo went back to his position as a police in Eumseong living alone? Or did he just leave and go to Haeryun to find their happiness? Or do you think he needs to rebuild his love with his wife, Euijeong and have a simple and quiet life again? Or a Season 2?
The story left a bittersweet note but still hoping for more. This should have been a series of 16 or 20 eps and if not, it should have a 2nd season.
1. The father of Haeryun said she has to pay for what he did. Will they make revenge against Seungho and Haeryun?
2. What happen to Meth Park who happens to be the father of Junmo?
3. Junmo said, I think I care for you much more than you do. He directed also Haeryun to go to Hong Kong for the time being. Will he live with Haeryun?
4. Euijeong leaving the necklace in the niche while Junmo leaving the wedding ring means it is a sign of separation for the two and forgetting everything about them? Junmo chose to just let go.
This deserves a Season 2.
Park Junmo will work on another mission but they will accidentally see each other again and eventually, rebuild their love.
This work of Ji Chang Wook deserves a Best Actor Award.
