Even as COVID-19 vaccines continue to rollout, several countries are trying to find a balance between whether to prioritize first or second doses.

And with variants still spreading, including the one first detected in India, it’s prompting further decision-making among officials.

A new British study suggests two vaccines — both of which are being used in Canada — work well against the variant detected India, but only when people have both doses. Redmond Shannon explains.
