Boom. What's going on everybody?
I am Logan, the 64th Gear Jammer Skeele founder of Advantage Diecast opening up the Southside Warehouse doors on another episode of Toy Talk.
Have you ever heard of International Transport Inc?
International Transport was based out of Rochester Minnesota and was comprised of owner-operators. Drivers were required to paint their trucks in the famous Yellow and Green paint scheme. Trucks traveled throughout the United States and Canada.
International Transport was another victim of the late 1970s deregulation. Schneider Transport bought them out and phased out the name and paint scheme.
Fitting for International Transport, Neo Scale Models to use a 1964 International Harvester DCOF-405 Emeryville to replicate one of the famous yellow and green International Transport trucks for today’s product review. The 1964 Emeryville is a 1:64th scale truck model.
This is the 1964 International Emeryville tractor with sleeper. It's a cab over design and it's for International Transport Inc of Rochester, Minnesota. It is a resin and diecast truck model. It comes in the standard Neo Scale Models, hardboard sleeve with plastic display case. It has a clear plastic cover and a black plastic base plate. Also, it has the little mirror piece in the back so you can see both sides of the truck without taking it out.
That wonderful display case when I slide her out of here will keep that model nice and dust-free for you. And if you ever dust these models, you'll really appreciate that.
Oh, I forgot to show it off. The item number on this truck is NOE64031.
This display case just clips in place. Just take a little screwdriver. Sometimes they use big screws. Sometimes they use little screws. I'm not really sure what the difference is, but that's the way they are and be careful don't lose the screws.
So you can put the truck back in the box if he ever needed to move or anything else, because the safest way to transport your trucks is to put them back in the packaging. These trucks are screwed down to the base with two Phillips head screws. Before you take these off of the base, it's a good idea to look around and make sure nothing's broken on them. And then to hold them, put a forefinger on the frame and your thumb under the base plate and hold it there. Cause that's the strongest place. I don't want you to break any little ancillary parts, which are fairly fragile. They're more durable than on some of the company's trucks, but they are still fragile. And I don't want you to break them. Even on Diecast Promotions trucks it’s easy to break those mirrors and exhaust stacks now.
This tractor is a popular tractor and so was International Transport. It was one of the companies that it seems like it should have been done a long time ago by a lot of people, but really wasn't done.
Very, very nicely detailed cab. Neo Scale Models does a great job. They use diecast frames to make their 1:64th scale trucks for structural strength. Which we really, really need in our models. And then they use resin cabs so that they can make very limited runs. So, each one of these toolings, they don't run a thousand times like DCP and First Gear do.

How many of you have one of these 1:64 scale trucks in your collection?
Are you afraid of resin models?
Is it the reputation that one manufacturer gave resin toys as to why you're afraid of them?
Honestly, I'd like to know. So drop your thoughts in the comments below.
I've also got a report on resin versus diecast and it'll tell you why we shouldn't be afraid of resin models, and actually we need to embrace them and put them into our collections instead. That way we can keep this hobby alive going. Grab your copy at this link [ Ссылка ] and shop for Neo Scale Models 1:64th scale trucks on my website at [ Ссылка ]
