So i had this problem;
A client had a laptop with a PST file of his archived mail in Outlook.
The PST file got lost, and there was no backup of this file.
There was a backup of his archive from back in the day when they exported it to the pst file, at the time they still had a Groupwise enviroment.
So the challenge was to get this archived Groupwise mail into a PST file.
Steps involved;
1. create a virtual machine in Hyper-V
2. download and install a fresh copy of Windows 7 on that virtual machine (to download a ISO from the Microsoft website i used the trick described here : [ Ссылка ]
3. Download and install a fresh copy of Groupwise 14
4. Download and install a mailserver which supports both IMAP and POP3
5. create an archive in Groupwise
6. Replace the content of the created archive with the archive you want to open
7. a structural rebuild of the groupwise data
connect groupwise with IMAP to the local installed mailserver.
8. Download and install Outlook 2016
9. Connect Outlook to the same mailserver with POP3
10. move archived mail to the groupwise account
11. download moved mail with outlook and place it in the correct folder.
