The Sony RM-VPR1 paired with the Sony a7 series cameras is a rock solid combination. I give a quick overview of the remote and how it works with the Sony a7ii camera.
Sony RM-VPR1 wired remote - [ Ссылка ]
I want to go over some remote options you have for your Sony a7 series cameras, your a6000, a5100 and so on. Pretty much all modern day Sony photography cameras. The first one I want to look at is a wired remote. It’s the Sony RM-VPR1. It’s made for the multi-user interface. It’s micro USB. I don’t know why they get on with all the fancy names. So essentially plug it into the side of your camera. It plugs in here. They ship a second cord for video cameras, for sony video cameras. This has a shutter button that you can press halfway and get focus, you can press all the way and take your photo. You can, when in bulb mode, press and hold and it will lock it. Let’s just go ahead and do that real quick from bulb mode right here. ***** first curtain so you don’t hear the actual click, which is a little odd for people who are used to DSLR’s with the mirror slap going up so you’re kind of like, “Hey, did it start”, and then you let go and bam. Then you can also press, hold, slide down, and it will lock it. So you don’t have to sit there and hold it. Then when you are through, slide it up and lock it. Now if you have zoom lens, it has a zoom control right there and also video start and stop right here at the bottom. It also has an on/off switch so just turn the camera off or put it to sleep in this case and if I want to recall the camera’s power back on, no problem. There ya go. It also comes with this potato chip clip that you can slide the remote into. I don’t know what you would tag it to. Maybe your remote leg. Just trying this out. I don’t know. But, I’m sure you would find something. So this is one option. It’s a wired remote.
