There has been widespread condemnation of Russia after more than 300 civilians were found dead in a town north of Kyiv. Images of the bodies on the streets and in a mass grave emerged after Russian troops withdrew from the area. It's been described as "a brutality against civilians not seen in Europe for decades”. Russia has denied civilian killings in Ukraine and described the video footage as fake.
