Written instructions:
1. With the yarn in back insert right needle into first stitch on left needle from left to right
2. Wrap working yarn around right needle from under the needle
3. Slip right needle back through first stitch, keeping working yarn on needle
5. Slide first stitch from left needle off, new knit stitch remains on right needle
6. Move the yarn between the needles so the yarn is in front.
7. Insert right needle into first stitch on left needle from right to left
8. Wrap working yarn around right needle from above the needle
9. Using the index or middle finger to push working yarn toward you to keep tension, slip right needle back through first stitch, keeping working yarn on needle
10. Slide first stitch from left needle off, new purl stitch remains on right needle
