Karnataka Bandh LIVE: Amid the ongoing protests in Karnataka over the sharing of Cauvery River water, forty-four flights have been cancelled in Bengaluru. The twenty-two flights of these were to take off while the other half were to land. The cancellations happened due to operational issues and the passengers had been informed as per airport authorities. The cancellation might have happened due to the Karnataka Bandh during Cauvery Water dispute between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. While protesters in the state take it to roads to show their disagreement to the sharing of water, Tamil Nadu has also been facing issues of their own.
