Santorini has been in our travel bucket list for a long time, and first experience 4 years ago in the island was what made us come back here for the 2nd time to capture our experiences and share them with you all.
Once in the island highly recommend buying bottles of water to drink as tap water is not suited for drinking and secondly, rent a scooter like we did or opt to rent a car.
Here are pointers to make note when renting a scooter / car in Santorini
- You will need a valid EU driving license or an international driving license
- We only had our Indian driving license at that time, hence we needed an international driving license to be able to rent a scooter in Santorini
- You can virtually obtain an International driving license by submitting a copy of your current valid driving license in the website www.internationaldriversassociation.com
