Position the patient standing with their backside facing towards the clinician. Using a goniometer, place the fulcrum at S2 with the proximal end perpendicular to the ground and the distal end towards C7. Actively, instruct the patient to reach there arm on one side, down their leg, as far as they can. Record the reading in degrees. In addition, you will note any pain or difficulty present on the recording sheet.
