In February ten People's Voice Media Community Reporters from across Salford and Manchester went on a visit to the BBC in Manchester.
As well as going behind the scenes of North West Tonight as it went out, then meeting presenters Gordon Burns and Diane Oxberry, the group spent two days covering the basics of journalism with Jim Clarke NWT editor.
