Mt Cook Aoraki Village and National Park, Tasman Glacier and Hooker Valley Track - This vlog sums up our time at the Mt Cook national park, and why we recommend that you stay here, rather than just day trip, if possible.

We stayed at the Hermitage Hotel, one of only two accomodations located in the area, and dined at their alpine restaurant whilst viewing the spectacular sunset over the peak of the southern alps.

The next morning we made our way to a vantage point at the Tasman Lake which still had icebergs floating in it, fed from the Tasman Glacier. Straight after we hiked the Hooker Valley track which is one of the most popular in the country, and is suitable for people of all fitness types.

With talks of Australia & New Zealand possibly opening a 'travel bubble' between ourselves for overseas tourism, we hope to show you guys a taste of the natural scenery that our kiwi neighbours are offering, and if you're even just contemplating it, why you should go go GO!
