Just like Human beings, products also have a life cycle. A typical product moves through five stages during its life span. Even the life span differs from product to product. The stages are as follows:

1. Introduction Stage
2. Growth Stage
3. Maturity Stage
4. Decline Stage, and
5. Abandonment Stage
