Jet boat some rapids on the Main Salmon River with flow 40K CFS White Bird and 5.3 on the Corn Creek ramp. Included is the new Sapp Creek rapid, which has a steeper final climb at higher flows.

Some finesse in Bailey rapid: climb onto a wave, then let off on the throttle and slide backwards/sideways down the wave. The diagonal waves terminate smoothly in the central green water, so this technique prevents bashing over waves. But... it requires a lot of power to get moving again.
