The City of Ekurhuleni is calling on owners of vehicles that were impounded by the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department before 31 December 2023 to collect them before 3pm tomorrow, after which they will be destroyed.
Reportedly about 141 vehicles are kept at EMPD pounds.
Some of the vehicles were impounded after they were involved in accidents or for contravention of the National Road Traffic Act 93 of 1996 or the city's by-laws.
