I recommend a MINIMUM of 10 weeks and 250 hours of study. I studied for a total of 300+ hours, used Kaplan’s program and stuck to their 10 week plan. I did notice that Brett Danko’s system had a ton of praise across all the candidate forums, so definitely check him out before deciding on what’s best for your learning style.
To become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, you must be C.F.P. ~ calm, focused, and positive. My favorite instructor at Kaplan would say that in his videos, and it’s so true.
