Gemini X was a daring mission, which saw astronauts Micheal Collins and John Young perform rendezvous and docking tests with two other spacecraft. It was highly successful, and an important stepping stone for the Apollo programme.
Using original NASA commentary from the launch sequence, this soundtrack aims to capture the sense of risk, awe and scale of the launch - now 54 years on.
The main sample libraries I have used for this project are:
- Virhamonic, Bohemian Violin
- EWQL, Steinway Pianos and Hollywood Strings
- Spitfire, Albion One
Album art photography and audio commentary are both courtesy of NASA.
