On July 29th, 2021 Chris Forwood was arrested for disorderly conduct and breaking into a car. Two days later Marcos Oslan, who was in jail facing a murder charge, brutally assaulted Forwood and nearly killed him, according to a lawsuit filed in federal court. Forwood's attorney Hank Sherrod says Forwood sustained a traumatic brain injury and spent one year in the hospital recovering.
