Members of the 81st Civil Support Team of the North Dakota Army National Guard and the 119th Emergency Management Squadron of the North Dakota Air National Guard joined forces to train for a chemical disaster response at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo, ND and the 119th Wing in Fargo, ND. The training also included the Cass County Emergency Management team. By training for such scenarios, civil support teams can better understand the potential risks associated with different chemicals and learn how to assess the situation accurately. This helps them to be prepared to respond effectively and minimize the impact of the disaster while also improving coordination with local authorities. (Video by Master Sgt.
