Very special guests of JBTV Music Television, July Talk delivered the goods on Jerry Bryant's birthday. And, they came with guns blazing and took down the house with their vigorous combination of heavy guitars, tight drumming, and distinctive vocals. In the vocal range of Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach, Dreimanis sets the tone with his deep, raspy voice that grabs the listener by his ears. Leah Fay delivers a gentler side of the band’s voice in a sort of devilish delight way, creating a perfect equilibrium of power and tenderness for an authentic blues sound.

Formed in 2012, Canadian blues/alternative rock quintet July Talk, has been making waves in their short time together. They have released one self-titled album in 2013, and in that same year they toured with respected acts Weezer, Tegan and Sara, and Billy Talent. The group’s roster consists of Peter Dreimanis and Leah Fay on vocals, Ian Docherty on guitar, Josh Warburton on bass, and Danny Miles on drums. July Talk was nominated for Breakthrough Group Of The Year at the 2014 Juno Awards in Canada.
