Autonomic disorders are neurological diseases that can affect the cardiovascular system. Syncope, Dysautonomia, and POTs (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) are the most common forms.
I suffer from POTS, which leads to orthostatic intolerance, orthostatic hypotension, and/or vasovagal syncope (neurocardiogenic syncope?). Dysautonomia comes with many orthostatic hypotension symptoms. This video goes over neurocardiogenic syncope, pots, fainting, and how my diagnosis process with tilt table testing has been so far!
