Two Years of a Pandemic. Two Waves surged over us, and India is still fighting the Covid-19 Pandemic. While a majority of the population, resorts to working from home and living through the Pandemic from their sofas, our Healthcare Workers work relentlessly at the forefront of the Pandemic, treating the diseased, and now even scrambling for healthcare resources in the Second Wave. We have been able to fight against the Coronavirus, not only due to the efforts of our Doctors, but also the nurses, the paramedics and other healthcare professionals, who have risked their lives day in and day out in order to help us survive a global pandemic. While Dr. Devi Shetty has estimated a crisis of Healthcare Professionals in the forthcoming Third Wave, within India’s Second Wave it is time to acknowledge the relentless efforts and hardships of our Healthcare professionals, and also be grateful towards our Frontline Heroes. Barkha Dutt discusses life inside a Covid Hospital with Dr. Trupti Gilada, Dr. Siddhartth Taara, Dr. Parul Vadgama, Dr. Nilakshi Sabnis.
