Although I am building a model railway I need trucks and truck drivers. A lot of them. In the 1950's where my coming layout is set trucking was quite heavily regulated in Denmark. The idea was that the railway would be the main supply-line for goods and that truck would take care of last mile delivery. In the long run road transport totally outcompeted freight servive by train, but here in the mid-1950's road and rail transport still both cooporate and compete with each other. The figures comes from the Preiser paint-yourself-set 16335. Some of them can easily be painted as 1950's truckers, wile other need a little adaptation. Please visit my blog Sundborg.Wordpress.com (mostly in Danish) for more about my Danish Era III model railway.
