Chef Dahl is completely self-taught and pioneered the fine dining scene in Sedona more than 25 years ago with the opening of her first restaurant. This is now her 5th restaurant concept and she is the largest restaurateur in Northern Arizona, plus has emerged as one of the country's top female chefs in recent years. Not sure if you know this, but she shed her life in the fashion industry in San Francisco after the tragic murder of her son Justin who was killed doing a good deed. She had heard of Sedona's healing powers and up-and-moved her life there. She started cooking as a way to feel more connected to her son since it was a passion they both shared.
