Winged scapula is a postural condition where the inside of the shoulder blade lifts off the rib cage.
It can cause issues such as rounded shoulders, shoulder impingement and rotator cuff issues. Strengthening the muscles (specifically the serratus anterior and lower trapiezus) to help pull the scapula back into a proper position should be top priority if you are experiencing winged scapula.
