Now that you’ve installed Core and explored its various features, you may wish to use it to send and receive crypto assets. The good news is that it’s easy to employ Core to transfer crypto between wallets.
Our video will lead you through the cryptocurrency transfer process, which goes like this:
TO SEND ASSETS:
1. Open Core by clicking the browser icon on the upper right corner.
2. Press the “+” icon to open the list of options.
3. Select the “Send” option.
4. On the Send window, (a) input the address of the wallet to which you want to send assets, (b) select the Token drop-down menu to choose the type of coin to be sent and type in the amount, (c) select the network fee, and (d) press “Next.”
5. On the Confirm Transaction window, double-check the data, then press “Send Now.” This will complete the wallet-to-wallet transfer.
6. On the next window, press “View in Explorer” to open Snowtrace. This will display the details of your transaction.
7. Returning to your wallet, you can click Activity to view your transaction history, which should include the transfer you just completed.
TO RECEIVE ASSETS:
1. Open Core by clicking the browser icon on the upper right corner.
2. Press the “+” icon to open the list of options.
3. Select the “Receive” option.
4. You will now see a QR code that you can use. Alternatively, you can copy the C-Chain address listed below it.
