STORYLINE:
Some of London's dogs and their owners took part on Monday to try to set a new world record for the loudest group bark and loudest single bark.
Gathering in London's Finsbury Park, the event was adjudicated by Guinness World Records' Marco Frigatti who recorded the decibel levels of the canine competitors.
Monday's event smashed both world records, with 30 dogs setting the world record for the loudest group bark at 115 decibels, beating the previous record of 111, involving 224 dogs.
A white American Shepherd called Daz set the record for the loudest single bark at 108 decibels.
