This is what Cassidy’s aqua treadmill session looked like UNDER WATER!!
The goal is to get him “walking” and help him build muscle to improve his mobility and comfort long term. You can see him starting to get the hang of it, as he realizes it doesn’t hurt his stumps to “walk” on them in the water. Huge thanks to the amazing Jenn at The Spaw for helping Cassidy and Ilya tonight!
Cassidy was born feral and lost both back legs shortly after birth. Physical therapy can dramatically improve mobility and comfort, but we never would have imagined Cassidy rocking an aqua treadmill like this! It just goes to show how much we can underestimate these remarkable creatures!
