Recently on Feb 2nd, 2021 Hyderabad Metro Rail had created a green corridor for transporting heart of a brain-dead patient from Nagole to Jubilee Hills. Apollo Hospitals Sr. Transplant surgeon Dr. AGK Gokhale, transplants the cadaver heart in a 44-year-old male heart failure patient Mr. Kanaka Reddy. He has recovered well & was discharged on Feb 15th. He has come for his check up & shares his overall experience with us.
