In this video I talk about what goes into choosing my inks and fountain pens each month ... I also show you what my organizing looks like now for ink samples, full bottles, non-inked pens, & inked pens.
This is a great question! I answered it in email for for a viewer and decided I'd like to make a video about it.
As many of you know, ink is my primary passion within this hobby. I love fountain pens too of course! Anyway, I ramble on about this in the video. I'd love to hear from others about how you make your ink and pen choices and how long you keep pens inked up. I personally explore 8 inks each month and carry over only a few to finish the following month (usually piston fillers). I always make sure I don't exceed my 2 Nock Sinclair pen cases for inked pens ... generally I have fewer than a dozen pens inked. In the past I had upwards of 30 and it was too chaotic for me.
Hopefully the editing was successful at the end of this video - I had a sudden and hideous coughing spell most likely caused by talking too much and the swamp cooler air. Please forgive me if it didn't get snipped properly. Any questions you'd like answered in video format, feel free to leave a comment! I'll get to them eventually!
