Black-owned businesses need support now more than ever. Andrea Lewis shares how entrepreneurs can collaborate to support Black entrepreneurs, especially during COVID-19. Brought to you by GoDaddy.
With over 2.5 million Black-owned businesses, entrepreneurs want to know how they can show genuine support for the Black entrepreneurs in their community. JungleWildProduction actress and filmmaker Andrea Lewis says collaboration is key — and that starts with having an open conversation to learn what partnering with a Black-owned business looks like. Whether that means showcasing their brand in your store, promoting them online or supporting them as a customer, every effort you can make to support a Black-owned business will not only impact that individual business, but also the Black community as a whole. Andrea tells us that partnership can also look like mentoring. Strong mentorship helps guide aspiring Black entrepreneurs and Black business owners down the path of success and helps them rise above any obstacles. It’s time to see more Black entrepreneurs succeed in every realm of the business world by choosing to support Black owned businesses in every way possible.
