Protesters in San Cristobal build barricades and denounce the government of President Nicolás Maduro, as Venezuela experiences its worst unrest in decades.
One protester speaks to journalist saying, "we're tired of you Maduro" the message comes as the death toll from months of protests rises to three dozen.
The exact figure cannot be agreed upon, with the government saying 39 people have died while the opposition says the toll is 28. More than 550 people have been injured.
Rising violent crime figures - Venezuela recorded at least 15,000 murders last year - as well as high inflation and food shortages have brought thousands to the streets in protest.
"You can't even go out at night ... if I go out my mum will call me, hey come back soon, because I am worried for you," said one anti-government protester.
"We cannot go out on the streets, we cannot buy food, we cannot put gas in our cars. It's very hard living in a country where you have to get used to what they impose."
"We want a change, we want a future, we're here because right now the professionals from Venezuela, we see no future."
