Good Morning from he Beautiful Island of Kalsoy in Faroe Islands 🇫🇴
I have been waiting to hike the Kallur Lighthouse ever since I saw the beautiful photos of it on the internet many years ago! This morning I caught a ferry from the town of Klaksvík and in just 20 minutes I was on the island of Kalsoy!
As you disembark the ferry, buses to take you to Mikladalur and Trøllanes await you. After a 20 minute bus ride I arrived in Mikladalur to explore the biggest town on the island and visit the Kópakonan (Seal Woman) statue!
In the unfortunate series of events, the bus to from Mikladalur to Trøllanes never arrived so my adventure just got a bit more exciting! The hike to Kallur Lighthouse was something out of a fairytale, tall cliffs and I was greeted by friendly sheep hanging out in the pasture.
