For short crust pastry dough :
All purpose flour/maida : 150 grams
Butter : 75 grams
Powdered sugar : 2 table spoons
Ice cold water : 1 to 2 table spoons
For filling :
Large apples : 2
cinnamon powder : 2table spoons
sugar : 1/2 cup + 1 tea spoon for sprinkling
egg yolk : 1 or milk wash
Corn flour : 1 table spoon
Note :
If you are using unsalted butter add pinch of salt. I used salted butter so I didn't used salt.
Always use cold butter and cold water to make this short crust pastry dough.
While rolling dough put dough in between cling wrap or parchment paper and roll it.
These measurements makes one 8 inch pie. For tarts it makes two 8 inch tarts.
