Back home: A truly memorable and emotional return to The Valley – certainly one of the happiest days in the club’s history; capped perfectly in the 7th minute when Colin Walsh scored the winning goal. At one time in the club’s history, The Valley had the biggest capacity in the country but now, on their return, the ground was initially restricted to 8,337 - but at least the Addicks’ destiny was now completely in their own hands.
